, Founder & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Deon Milardo founded Healing Haven Psychiatry LLC in November 2024 with a mission to create a compassionate, client-centered space for individuals seeking mental health care across the lifespan. Deon’s path into nursing was driven by purpose and passion. After earning his foundational degree from Gateway Community College, he advanced through rigorous academic programs at Bridgeport University and Goodwin University, where he earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in

mental health. Over the years, Deon gained extensive experience in diverse clinical settings, including Intensive Care, Inpatient Psychiatry, Emergency Department Psychiatry, Crisis Management, and Medical-Surgical care. These experiences shaped his holistic approach and deepened his understanding of the complexities of mental wellness. At Healing Haven,
